WHAT TYPES OF HELP CAN WE OFFER?

The International Softball Federation has numerous development aids available as part of our ongoing efforts to help our member federations grow the sport of softball within their particular countries.

A quick look at the various items available from the ISF Development Department shows you the following:

PLAYING EQUIPMENT

Starter Kits:
A Starter Kit contains the following items:

  • 12 Gloves per Kit
  • 4 Batting Helmets per Kit
  • 1 set of Catcher’s Gear per Kit
  • 1 set of Moveable Bases per Kit

 A variety of donated previously-worn uniforms, jackets and t-shirts are available.

Beginning and Intermediate Level Courses – these entry to middle level clinics are held within your country and are available through your national federation.

Advanced Coaching Courses - ISF International Coaching Colleges held in cooperation with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).

SCHOOL SOFTBALL
This is an increasingly popular area of growth for softball worldwide as shown by the list of over 50 federations that currently have softball in the schools programs within their country.  If your country has school softball and you’re not on this list, please contact the ISF and let us know.

As part of this Schools Program, the ISF partners our Equipment Starter Kits with our Instructional Video Tapes and our Softball in the Schools Manual – all targeted at meeting the challenges of placing softball into the school systems around the world.
