ISF Development Equipment Assistance
In our ongoing efforts to help our member federations grow the sport of softball within their particular country, the International Softball Federation has numerous development aids available.  One of the many ways we can assist your Federation/Association in the development of softball in your region is by providing equipment.

EQUIPMENT:
Because the ISF realizes that softball equipment can be very hard to find and/or expensive in your native country, we’ve worked extremely hard to make a combination of new and used equipment available. Our Equipment Program works to provide our member federations with softball equipment packaged in what we call a Starter Kit.

Starter Kits:
A Starter Kit contains the following items:

  • 12 Gloves per Kit
  • 4 Batting Helmets per Kit
  • 1 set of Catcher’s Gear per Kit
  • 1 set of Moveable Bases per Kit
  • 24 Softballs per Kit
  • 6 Bats per Kit

A Starter Kit is packaged and shipped directly to the Member for immediate use or distribution.  Your Starter Kit, upon arrival, will contain everything you will need to play an entire game of softball.  One Starter Kit contains all the equipment necessary for TWO teams to play a game together, and is intended to “jump start” your program with needed equipment.

*Occasionally, we receive some “hard to find” items as a donation from a university, or Club/Team/Program.  Some examples of the “occasional items” are as follows:

  1. Batting Tees
  2. Speed/Radar Guns
  3. Pitching Machines
  4. Hitting Aids
  5. Nets for Backdrops
  6. Pitching Aids
  7. Various other training or field equipment

* These items are not always available; please contact the ISF for details.

Sometimes you may not need ALL the equipment that is included in a Starter Kit.  For example, in some countries gloves and bats may be easy and affordable to obtain, but balls are hard to find or simply too expensive.  In these cases you can request just the quantities of equipment your Federation is in need of (see example on Development Request Form).

If your Federation is in need of equipment in either the form of Starter Kits or individual quantities of equipment please fill out the Development Request Form provided in this section.  (Sample form is provided to help in filling out this form completely.)

The ISF is proud to be able to provide this assistance to our 127 Member Federations/Associations.  We look forward to working with each and every one who requests our assistance.  Together, we can make softball the game of the future!

If you have any questions concerning equipment assistance, please contact Lori Nolan at info@internationalsoftball.com.

Another form of assistance is our Uniform Program.  The ISF receives an assortment of uniforms from our Equipment Donation Program.  Many colleges/clubs/youth leagues donate a variety of types and colors of adult and youth sized uniforms.  We also have umpire uniforms donated by our generous contributors.  Most of the uniform tops come with coordinating pants and/or shorts.  We also have sliders, socks, shoes/cleats, visors, and hats available upon request.**

Uniforms:

  • Players Uniforms are also available for your teams or to use as awards at your tournaments. These uniforms are used and already have a team name on the front, but they are extremely nice and come in many different colors.
  • Umpire Uniforms are also available in different sizes. These are also used but have all been cleaned. Umpire Indicators/Clickers are also available but we don’t have any protective equipment for umpires at this time.

**Please note that the amounts and sizes of each uniform set we receive will change frequently. When requesting uniforms, please let us know which is more important for your needs:
Color? Are you looking for a “team color, country colors”, etc?
Size? Does it matter what particular color the uniform is, or just that it’s youth sized or adult sized?
Style? Do they have to be uniforms with pants, or would it be appropriate to wear shorts?
