2010 ISF YOUTH WORLD CUP
THIS IS A 16-AND-UNDER GIRLS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
Age qualification is determined by
age as of the 31st of December 2010. The athlete must be 16 at the start of the event.

TOURNAMENT INCLUDES:
- Minimum six game guarantee
- Two umpires per game, three umpires in championship play
- Field prep after every other game
- Skills Competition - one nominated member per skill for each team
- Medical staff on site
- Opportunity to play at least one foreign team in pool play
- Team medals for 1st – 4th place
DATES:
December 30, 2010 - January 5, 2011 (Thursday - Wednesday)

LOCATION:
ISF headquarters & Plant City Stadium complex, Plant City, Florida (USA)
ENTRY FEE
- USA Domestic Teams:
$450 USD Entry fee (sent thru the Domestic World Cup Coordinator once team has won a qualifier)
- Canadian teams:
$500 USD Entry fee
- Foreign Teams:
$1,000 USD tournament deposit, which is credited toward first night housing
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
* SIX GAME GUARANTEE
*
Five games in pool play and one guaranteed game in single elimination bracket play
*
Six teams per pool
* At least one foreign team per pool
* All teams will advance into single elimination bracket play from pool play
* Teams will be seeded in bracket play based on pool play finish
POOL PLAY (Thursday, December 30th)
* Pool play will take place in Plant City
BRACKET PLAY (will be determined once number of teams is finalized)
* All bracket games will be played at the ISF headquarters/Plant City Stadium complex
* The earliest a team can be eliminated from competition
will be announced once the total number of teams is known.
* The
championship game for the 2010 ISF Youth World Cup will be posted once the total number of teams for the event is known.
TEAM SOLIDARITY
* Each team should bring a token of solidarity for gift exchange before every
game against an opponent you will face for the first time (refer to pool and
bracket play, when available, to estimate number of gifts to bring.
A minimum of six will be needed but will be dependent on the number of bracket games won.
These
should be small gifts like pins, keychains, or another small item from your
country, state/province, or team).
