“BACK SOFTBALL” MERCHANDISE NOW AVAILABLE
2007-07-13

Recently the International Softball Federation (ISF) announced a campaign name, along with a corresponding logo and website for the ongoing efforts to get women’s fast pitch softball reinstated to the programme of the Olympic Games. “Back Softball” is an initiative of the ISF to get the International Olympic Committee (IOC), at their Session in October 2009 in Denmark, to add the sport to the programme of the 2016 Summer Games.

Softball will be played next year at the Olympics in Beijing, China, but not at the 2012 Games in London.

The ISF today announced that “Back Softball” is now featured on hats and visors, shirts, and lapel pins, all of which are available for online purchase. In addition, jackets will soon be added to the line of “Back Softball” merchandise.

“We know that there is worldwide support for our sport and for getting it reinstated to the Olympics,” said ISF President Don Porter. “The ‘Back Softball’ campaign is helping us get more attention, which is what we need if we are to succeed in getting the IOC Members to vote in 2009 to put softball back into the Olympic Games.”

Join the ISF in getting more attention for the “Back Softball” campaign and show your support for the Olympic Softball reinstatement efforts by wearing the new apparel and telling others to visit www.BackSoftball.com.
