ONLY 2 WEEKS LEFT TO ENTER CONTEST
2008-10-17
Back
at the beginning of August an international photography contest was announced, to gather shots to support Back Softball, the Olympic reinstatement campaign.
August 1 sounds like a long time ago, but it won’t be long now that the entry period for the contest will close.
As the rules state, the contest is being held through November 1, which means there are only two weeks left to send in your entries! There are six different categories in which both amateur and professional photographers can enter, and numerous prizes – including one thousand dollars (U.S. funds) for the overall winner.
Accompanying this article are all of the relevant links to ensure that you’re well informed as the entry period heads into its last 14 days. The next key date after that will be December 1, when the winners will be announced following a full review by a panel made up of representatives from the international softball community and members of the ISF BackSoftball Task Force.
Don’t miss out on not only a chance at some great prizes, but an opportunity for thousands and thousands of people worldwide to see your handiwork behind a camera lens. Remember, this isn’t a last-minute reminder to run out and start taking pictures … the shots can be from your digital library going back as far as January 1, 2007.
Now, read up on the rules and entry procedures, and good luck!
