2009-07-21

A scoreboard being updated each half inning from the games in Bob Van Impe Stadium is online for fans to follow the action at the International Softball Federation XII Men’s World Championship currently taking place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (Canada).

The scoreboard gives fans not only the linescore from the games at the main stadium in Saskatoon, but the pitchers for each team as well as any players that have hit a home run in that game, plus the four umpires assigned to officiate on the field.

For even greater interaction with the tournament, starting with the conclusion of this morning's Botswana vs. USA game the ISF will be offering exclusive online video content for free via its YouTube channel. Not available anywhere else, the footage is being shot on-site in Saskatoon following selected games, and features an interview with a player or coach.

The cost for a complete tournament package is $59.95 (Canadian), or, for the ten playoff games on the weekend of July 24, 25, & 26, $34.95 (Canadian). Games will be archived and can be viewed by a purchaser at a later time as well.
