PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Welcome to the International Softball Federation’s (ISF) website.  Our new (June 2005) digital media partner, Blue Heron Media, has joined with us to provide the very best and up-to-date news and information on the great sport of softball.

Now played in over 125 countries, softball is touching thousands and thousands of girls, boys, women, and men on all continents.  The sport’s competitive activities and events are expanding continually with new events such as the World University Games and the Commonwealth Softball Championships being added to its event schedule, which can be found elsewhere on this site.

Also found on the site is the historical background of the sport, the great teams, athletes, coaches, and others that have helped in the growth, development, and success of softball.  The ISF has added new disciplines such as arena (indoor) softball and wheelchair softball, along with many new development projects, including the International Coaches College, aimed to develop better coaching and strategy techniques, as well as the ongoing project of providing equipment to those that have difficulties in accessing it or to some regions and countries where it might be unavailable.

Enjoy softball whether you are an Olympian, a world champion, a national or club team competitor, a spectator, or a supporter.
