CONPASA – The Pan American Softball Confederation is a regional body that encompasses all of the national softball federations in the Americas that are members of the ISF.  The current CONPASA President is Clovis Lodewijks, who is also President of the Netherlands Antilles Softball Federation and the ISF 1st Vice President.  CONPASA can be contacted via e-mail at lodewyks@interneeds.net.  The photo below is from the CONPASA General Assembly held in Guatemala in 2004, when they celebrated their 25th anniversary.

ESF – The European Softball Federation is a regional body that includes all of the national softball federations throughout Europe that are members of the ISF.  The current ESF President is Mike Jennings (Great Britain), who is also an ISF Vice President/Europe.  The ESF has its own website at www.europeansoftball.org.  The photo below is from the 2005 ESF Congress, which was held in Prague, Czech Republic.

SCA – The Softball Confederation of Asia is the regional body that includes all of the national softball federations throughout Asia that are members of the ISF.  The current SCA President is Bryan Cho (Korea).  The SCA can be contacted via e-mail at sca@softballasia.org.  The photo below is from the SCA’s 2004 Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On August 2, 2005, the Oceania Softball Confederation was established by representatives of nine of the 13 member nations of Oceania’s National Olympic Committees (NOC) and ISF members at a meeting in Palau. A constitution was approved and elections were held for officers as well as executive board committee members. The Confederation’s objectives are to represent the interests of member softball federations and to foster the development and participation in softball activities within the Oceania Region. Bob Steffy, Secretary General/Treasurer of the Guam NOC, was elected President of the Oceania Softball Confederation. Vice Presidents are Federated States of Micronesia Softball Federation President Willy Hawley (North) and American Samoa Softball Federation Vice President Larry Sanitoa (South). The regional body for the national softball federations in Africa is currently changing, following an African Softball Summit that was held in May 2005 in Johannesburg, South Africa (see photo below).  More details on this revamped organization – including contact information – will be posted here when they become available.
