PHOTO CONTEST OPEN!

Yesterday an international photography contest was announced by the International Softball Federation. The competition is calling photographers and casual fans together from around the world to gather compelling imagery to support Back Softball, the Olympic reinstatement campaign.

The winning images from the contest will be utilized throughout the remainder of the campaign, which goes up until the International Olympic Committee’s October 2009 vote in Denmark, to illustrate the desire for reinstatement on the Olympic Programme for the 2016 Games.

The photo contest is just the latest way that the ISF is enabling players, coaches, parents, umpires, softball administrators, fans, and others to take an active role in the campaign.
