PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The winners of the international BackSoftball photo contest have been announced today by the International Softball Federation.
Amateur and professional photographers around the world were able to submit photos in six different categories (maximum of three entries per category) over the course of August, September, and October. A total of 440 pictures were submitted by either email or air mail (on CD). Entries came from 13 different countries: Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Philippines, Spain, United Kingdom, and USA.
The winners are listed below (alphabetically by category), including the photo that came in first place in each category. Click here to see what the winners will receive as their prize. The category that received the most entries was Miscellaneous Player Photos. The winners came from seven of the 13 countries and what's below will also get published in the upcoming (January-April 2009) issue of World Softball magazine.
Category: Batting/Hitting
